The Butterfly Revolution is a novel written by William Butler. The story takes place in America, in the 1960's. The novel is about a few young kids taking over a summer camp. All starts with the captains leaders, and the revolution. Here I am going to compare and contast Winston and frank Reilley.
Winton Weyn is the main character of the book. He has a cool personality which is interesting. He is a so call "Born leader". Winston always makes good decisions and he knows how to manage his time properly. He has power and control when he gives his opinions on the revolution. He has power and control when he gives his opinions on the revolution. His thoughts on the committee shows what really is the main deal about.
General Frank is the dictator that boys tend to follow. He is a strong, better kid than Winston. He approaches Winston to ask if he knows the meaning of the word Lepidophera. Frank seems to be nicer, he gives ice cream, has parties, and even gets in the girls camp. Then a Supreme Revolutionary Committee starts. Frank gets scared and tries to escape. But gets tied down to a tree, and gets whipped.
Now I am going to compare and contrast Frank and Winston. Winston starts noticing that Frank is smart boy. He says he would like to keep an eye on that kid. Winston discovers that Frank has a knife who belongs to Stanley. Winston tries to battle the founders if the butterfly revolution over freedom of choice. Which is so immature. Now, Frank Reilley insists that the principle of this revolution is loyal to its law. They're similar because they are both dumb. And they're both in between the revolution. The difference is that Frank does try to get out of this mess, and Winston, he is just all hooked up on this mess.
Lastly, with Winstons violent behavior, he ends up not getting charged because they are unfound. Winston no longer thinks Frank crazy about the revolution. The ploice are finally the ones who ends this revolution mess. Frank and Winston are good exmaples of characters, to compare and contrast. This whole revolution thing was just a immature situation for them.
